I do sympathize with familiarity but you'd benefit greatly from leaving it in the dust here. It's actually VERY liberating to able to put stuff where you want. Example: You know you can activate any touched automation with just one button in S1 unlike FL?įirst thing I did was think about my workflow and started moving commonly used actions to very quick keys. Also there are a ton of things that FL doesn't bind that you would STRONGLY benefit from in S1. As in some keybinds are contextual to the Piano Roll etc. The problem with FL's keybinds is that they are window-centric. would be to get used to new hotkeys and create your own on the fly with intent. My advice and I do mean this as advice, not critique. Here's a small workflow related tip that may help you to work more efficiently with 3rd party plugins inside FL Studio: in the plugin wrapping settings (under the ‘Visual' section), check that the box ‘Don't allow keyboard focus' is enabled (it's disabled by default).
